2) TO DETERMINE YOUR BANGLE SIZE
If you don’t know your gold or silver bangle size, follow these steps to determine the bangle size that you need.
STEP 1:
Clap your fingers together and bring your thumb to your little finger in semi-closed fashion that you wear while wearing a bangle.STEP 2:
Using a ruler or paper tape measurement, wrap it around your hand at the widest part. If you are using a ruler, bring the zero mark to you palm and make a mark where the ruler crosses the hand bone on the opposite side. This would be the circumference of your hand.STEP 3:
Transfer your bangle circumference to the chart below. Choose your size by comparing with diameter size. The best size is 0.5″ from your actual hand measurement.
- Bring your thumb and little fingers together.
- Measure the circumference of your hand at the widest point using tape or ruler.
- Read.
- Then measure that with a ruler, you will get the circumference of your hand (add 0.5″ for comfortable measurement chart).
Tips for you to keep in mind before buying gold & silver bangles/bracelets:
- It is always recommended to buy bangles that are a half-size (0.5″) to 3/4-inch from the size of your wrist. This way it won’t be difficult for you to wear it.
- If you are confused about your size for bangles, go for the openable ones. They are adjustable and easy to wear.
- Gold and silver bangles are always taken in Indian sizes. Bangles in India have been measured by the inner diameter of the bangle. Indians mostly use the standard bangle size chart that is available and not complete
